Our Vision & Commitment
Get Involved & Make a Difference
Volunteer, Donate, or Partner
Support a Young Person. Get a Song.
When you donate to the "I MADE IT" campaign, you're investing directly in the next generation of artists, leaders, and changemakers. As our thank-you, every donor receives an exclusive download of the "I MADE IT" song — created by the very youth you're supporting.
100% of donations go directly toward LWOS youth programs.
"We believe every young person carries the potential to lead, create, and transform their community. Our job is to make sure nothing stands in the way."
— Pastor Derrick Mann, Founder & Executive Director
Programs Built to Open Doors
From the recording booth to the film set, from the mentorship table to the community garden — every LWOS program is designed to build real skills, real confidence, and real futures.
Our Approach
This is not a program built from theory.
"It's built from lived experience, heart, and community."
Too many students are navigating life alone — trying to figure out school, identity, purpose, and their future without support. Our mentors come from the same neighborhoods, faced the same challenges, and know what it takes to push through obstacles and build a future you're proud of.
We are committed to showing up, listening, supporting, guiding, and believing in every student we serve. This is more than mentorship. It's a movement.
Relationship
Over lectures. Connection is the foundation of every interaction we have with students.
Guidance
Over judgment. Every student comes to us as they are — we meet them there.
Opportunity
Over obstacles. We see what's possible, even when students can't yet see it for themselves.
Creativity
As a pathway to growth, identity, and confidence in every dimension of life.
Community
As the foundation for success. No one rises alone — that's not how it works.
Our Approach
Choose Your Level of Support
Every donor receives a free download of the 2026 rendition of "I MADE IT" — LWOS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible.
